What is MethodSketch?
MethodSketch is a tool to allow practitioners of the IDesign Method to iterate faster when doing System and Detailed Design. To learn about The Method you can read Righting Software or attend an Architect’s Master Class.
The primary goal of MethodSketch is to make mistakes faster.
In order to get the full benefit of all the features of this tool I would recommend that you attend or have mentorship from someone who has attended the Detailed Design Clinic. MethodSketch is born out of frustration at editing and keeping in sync multiple diagrams. Having discovered the importance of Sequence Diagrams to the process of Detailed Design, and having been entirely too lazy to create them before attending the Detailed Design Clinic.
